PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inexpensive illumination indicator board in simple structure that illuminates to display characters and symbols on a base board by lightning of light emitting elements. SOLUTION: The illumination indicator board 10 comprises: a substantially square indication substrate 12 formed by providing dotted and linear recessed parts and projection parts on one surface of a transparent insulating thick plate; an illumination indication plate part 11 including four light emitting diodes 11a to 11d fitted to centers of four sides of the indication substrate; a frame-shaped conductive common electrode plate 16 superposed surrounding an outer edge side of the one surface of the illumination indication plate part 11; and four kinds of frame-shaped conductive upper, right, lower, and left individual electrode plates 25A to 25D stacked in a mutual insulation state while enclosing an outer edge side of the other surface of the illumination indication plate part 11. Light beams emitted from the light emitting diodes 11a to 11d travel in the indication substrate 12 and impinge on the dotted and linear recessed parts 13f provided on the one surface of the thick plate to be reflected and diffused, thereby making illuminate dots and lines provided on the surface of the indication substrate.
