Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an elevator device capable of suppressing degradation of the design property, and reducing a space between a car side sill and a landing side sill at low cost. SOLUTION: A drive shaft 21 is arranged on a car side sill 5 across a cutout 9 while the axial direction is aligned to the door opening/closing direction, and a closing plate 19 is mounted on a cutout cross part of the drive shaft 21. A drive pin 23 is protruded from a lower side of a car side door 4 so as to be engaged with a power conversion groove 24 recessed in an outer circumferential wall surface of the drive shaft 21. When the drive pin 23 is fitted to a retreat position holding groove part 24b, the closing plate 19 is held at the suspended retreat position. When the drive pin 23 is fitted to an operational position holding groove part 24a, the closing plate 19 is held at the operational position for closing the cutout 9. In addition, when the drive pin 23 is fitted to a power conversion groove part 24c, the drive shaft 21 is rotated, and the closing plate 19 is moved between the operational position and the retreat position.
