PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for washing and disinfecting an endoscope having structure to automatically connect a supply nozzle to mouth rings of various conduits of the endoscope in the washing/disinfecting process and to prevent penetration of liquid into the endoscope from a mouth ring for detecting water leakage. SOLUTION: The apparatus is characterized by a washing/disinfecting tub for storing the endoscope, a first fluid supply unit 50 detachable from a conduit mounting part of the endoscope, a water leakage detecting nozzle 54 disposed in the first fluid supply unit 50 for feeding gas into the endoscope inserted into the mouth ring 74 for the water leakage detecting conduit disposed in the conduit mounting part of the endoscope, a moving mechanism 91 for moving the first fluid supply unit 50 relative to the conduit mounting part, a fluid feeding means for feeding gas to the water leakage detecting nozzle 54, and a control means for controlling the fluid feeding means for spouting gas from the water leakage detecting nozzle 54 when the first fluid supply unit 50 is moved to the position of the apparatus.
