Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a folding table which is simply structured and enables smooth folding operation (motion) without damaging the function as a folding table. SOLUTION: A folding table 1 comprises right and left top plates 2A, 2B segmented to right and left in the middle, a pair of leg sections 3A, 3B perpendicularly set to each inferior surfaces of the top plate, and right/left connecting bars 6 which have an end connected with the leg sections 3A, 3B and the other end extend to the edge of the top plates 2A, 2B countering each other are formed facing each other under the right and left top plates 2A, 2B, and in the side of the edges of the top plates 2A, 2B facing each other, an arm bar 10 whose cross-shaped polymerized section is rotationally supported is arranged, each end of the arm bar 10 is pivoted under the side of the edge of the right/left top plates 2A, 2B and each other end is pivoted with the other end of the right/left connecting bars, then, a pair of drive gears 14 engaging together are concentrically attached to a pivoting section of the arm bar and the right/left top plates 2A, 2B or the pivoting section of the arm bar 10 and the right/left connecting bars 6.
