Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a common multifunctional operating switch on a panel for making it carry out various driving controls for a power window and electromotive side mirrors, in order to simplify a switch panel and let the various driving controls to be carried out with good operability. SOLUTION: In the switch controller for a vehicle, one switch panel is provided with a multifunctional switch equipped with switching contacts at four corners of a square operating face capable of carrying out a switching operation of pressing a whole operating face downward and a switching operation of tilting the operating face in multiple directions, an opening and closing switch for windows, and a mirror selection switch for selecting right-and left-side electromotive side mirrors, so that, when the multifunctional switch is not operated for more than a given time, it turns into a power window control mode, and when the mirror selection switch is operated, the power window control mode is changed over to an electromotive side mirror control mode.
