Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a hydrophobic polymerizable organic monomer composition in which a metal-based inorganic element is dissolved as a reactive organic-inorganic hybrid backbone component in high concentration in a hydrophobic polymerizable monomer liquid medium, to provide a method for producing a hydrophobic polymerizable organic monomer liquid composition remarkably simply preparable by an industrially inexpensive and simple process and to obtain a modified organic polymer material that is produced by using the monomer composition, has improved polymer properties such as electric and mechanical properties, etc., and is useful in various industrial fields. SOLUTION: The hydrophobic polymerizable organic monomer liquid composition comprises a transparent sol-like reactive organic-inorganic hybrid backbone component, formed between a polymerizable silane coupling agent and a metal-based inorganic element alkoxide in a stoichiometric reaction ratio of the polymerizable silane coupling agent to the metal-based inorganic element alkoxide of 1:1.2-1.7, highly uniformly dissolved in a hydrophobic polymerizable monomer liquid medium in high concentration.
