Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an in-cabin illumination control device capable of reducing glare the instant that a vehicle leaves a tunnel. SOLUTION: The in-cabin illumination control device comprises a control ECU 10, an illumination device 20, a navigation device 30, and a vehicle speed sensor 40. The control ECU 10 comprises a tunnel detection unit 11, a distance calculation unit 12, and an illumination control unit 13. The navigation device 30 comprises a navigation ECU 31, a position detector 32 and a map data storage device 33. The tunnel detection unit 11 detects the advance of the self vehicle into a tunnel based on the result of detection of the position detector 32 and the storage content of the map data storage device 33. The distance calculation unit 12 calculates the distance between the self vehicle and an exit of the tunnel based on the storage content of the map data storage device 33 and the result of detection of the vehicle speed sensor 40. The illumination control unit 13 performs the lighting control of the illumination device 20 when the advance of the self vehicle into the tunnel is detected, and the distance to the tunnel exit becomes the predetermined value.
