Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical waveguide circuit, having high controllability of the reflection angle and satisfactory yield of production. SOLUTION: The optical waveguide circuit comprises a first side face substantially orthogonal to an optical axis; a second side face facing the first side face substantially parallel to the same; and a third side face, arranged so as to form an internal angle with the second side face of 90° to 180°. Since the second-side face and the third-side face form the internal angle of 90° to 180°, a curable resin made to flow into a mirror groove can be prevented from swelling due to its surface tension on the third-side face. Accordingly, a reflecting part having a flat surface can be formed. Furthermore, the mirror groove can be prevented from being embedded by the curable resin. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
