Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve miniaturization and high efficiency of a reciprocating pump. SOLUTION: A piston 18 is slidably fitted in a cylinder 17, and a pair of coils 22A and 22B are disposed at both ends of the cylinder 17. A magnetic passage of the coils 22A and 22B is formed by annular outer yokes 19A and 19B and inner yokes 20A and 20B, and annular plungers 28A and 28B attached to the piston 18 are sucked by annular spaces 29A and 29B therebetween. The coils 22A and 22B are alternately electrified to excite, and the piston 18 is reciprocated, and pump operation is performed. The annular plungers 28A and 28B are sucked by the annular spaces 29A and 29B between the annular outer yokes 19A and 19B and the inner yokes 20A and 20B, and thereby the passage of magnetic flux is extended, and leakage flux is reduced, and suction force can be increased.
