Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent reduction in treating performance by blocking-up of a dispersion plate, scattering and wear and tear of a capturing particle caused by sticking of a pressure sensitive adhesive substance when treating diesel engine exhaust gas by fluidizing a small particle such as metallic oxide. SOLUTION: This exhaust gas treating method makes the capturing particle composed of sintered spherical alumina having the particle size of 0.5 to 1 mm and bulk density of 3 to 4 g/ml, act as a capturing layer 4 by inputting the capturing particle to the resting time height of 100 to 200 mm, act as a fixing layer when a passing speed of the exhaust gas is small by passing the exhaust gas through into the capturing layer at a speed of 0.2 to 3 m/s (an empty tower speed) from below, and act as a fluid layer when the speed is large, by installing the dispersion plate 5 of the exhaust gas in a casing 3. An organic iron compound, an organic copper compound and/or an organic cerium compound of 20 to 10 ppm are also added to fuel of a diesel engine. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
