PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite IC card which never damages noncontact communication function even by repeated use in ATM, and an IC module for composite IC card used therefor. SOLUTION: This composite IC card 1 comprises the IC module for composite IC card including a rectangular contact terminal block disposed on a card surface in parallel to the four sides of the card, which is installed in a position regulated by ISO 7816. First and second antenna coil conducting recessed holes 14 and 15 for connecting both ends of an antenna coil 11 within an IC card substrate with antenna connecting terminal blocks of the IC module 5 are formed only in a first recessed part surface of an IC module installing recessed part 20 located, in relation to a lateral center line lm of the IC module parallel to the long sides of the IC card, farther from the lateral center line of the IC card, particularly, in the upper edge of the IC module, or in the upper edge and the left edge or right edge, and the connection is performed by the first and second antenna coil conducting recessed holes.
