Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a communication time between an RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) tag and an RFID reader/writer in an RFID system. SOLUTION: For example, in this RFID system, the reader/writer (R/W) transmits a question command ALL (A) for making RFID tags of a communication system (A) respond at a time toward X RFID tags (C) having a communication system (C) and the N RFID tags (A) having the communication system (A). In that case, because the R/W receives the responses from the N RFID tags (A), it can be recognized that the RFID tags having the communication system (A) are present by reception levels thereof or the like. Next, the R/W transmits a question command ALL (B) for making RFID tags of a communication system (B) respond at a time.
