Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waveform reproducing device capable of starting quick readout with simple constitution. SOLUTION: An amplitude value AudioBuf[RdPos] of a readout address RdPos of an audio buffer 4a is read (S21). Next, the readout address RdPos is advanced by one (S22). When the readout address RdPos is not less than 128 (S23:No), the readout address RdPos is made at 0 (S24), and the value of Level is made as the coefficient of a multiplier (S25). The multiplier multiplies the amplitude value read in the process of S21 by the coefficient. In the present invention, although the amplitude value of a waveform stored in the audio buffer 4a is always read in the process of S21, the level to be output is muted by the coefficient set at 0.0 by the multiplier and multiplied. When the reproduction is started, the amplitude value is reproduced by the coefficient set at 1.0 and multiplied. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
