Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combination or the like as feed additive for accelerating farm-animal fattening, wherein the fattening-acceleration effect on farm animals obtained is greater than that by adding an acid derived from a hexose such as a gluconic acid alone into feed can be brought. SOLUTION: The feed additive comprises gluconic acids and methionines. A farm-animal feed comprises the feed additive. A method for accelerating farm-animal fattening comprises giving an effective amount of the feed to the farm animals.
