Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To arbitrarily switch a path for encrypting input/output data and the other path not for encrypting input/output data concerning a storage system. SOLUTION: A server 10 and a storage device 20 and an encryption device 30 are connected to ports P1 to P10 of a fabric switch 40. Encryption management software 11 of the server 10 performs the connection setting of the port of the fabric switch 40 so that a path for encrypting data from the server 10 to the storage device 20 can pass the encryption device 30, and that the other path can be prevented from passing the encryption device 30 based on encryption setting information input from the outside and stored in an encryption setting information storage part 12.
