PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular storage device capable of smoothing the speed characteristic when a lid is opened, and the operational force characteristic when the lid is closed. SOLUTION: In the vehicular storage device, a lid 4 is openable/closable with respect to a vehicular storage device body 3 having a storage space 1 and a lid accommodation space 2. An opening/closing rocking arm 5 for opening/closing the lid 4 is connected and axially attached between the vehicular storage device body 3 and an intermediate portion in the opening/closing direction of the lid 4. A posture changing mechanism 8 capable of changing the posture of the lid 4 is provided between the vehicular storage device body 3 and the lid 4. An urging means 11 capable of urging the lid 4 in the opening direction is provided between the vehicular storage device body 3 and the lid 4. A damping means 14 for damping the urging force by the urging means 11 is provided. The posture changing mechanism 8 is formed of a posture changing link 21 to be connected and axially attached between the vehicular storage device body 3 and a distal part in the opening/closing direction of the lid 4. The urging means 11 is formed of a torsion spring 25 interposed between the vehicular storage device body 3 and the posture changing link 21. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
