Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dye-sensitized solar cell and a dye-sensitized solar cell module using electrodes which are corrosion resistive against electrolyte used for a dye-sensitized solar cell and have good endurability and conductivity. SOLUTION: The dye-sensitized solar cell comprises: a semiconductor electrode formed by laminating an upper electrode and an oxide semiconductor layer including dye on a transparent substrate in this order; a lower electrode which forms a pair with the upper electrode; and electrolyte enclosed between the semiconductor electrode and the lower electrode. The upper electrode and/or the lower electrode are constituted of an electrically conductive thin metal film 35 formed on a surface of the substrate 31 and a thin noble metal film 34 laminated on the electrically conductive thin metal film 35, which is made of one kind of noble metals selected from a group consisting of Rh, Pt and Ru.
