Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detecting method of a phosphor that can suppress high cost and exactly detect the existence of inorganic phosphors, even if organic phosphors exist in resin material. SOLUTION: In this detecting method of the phosphor, a phosphor (m) is detected, based on light quantity of wavelength conversion light b1 emitted from the phosphor (m), by exciting phosphors (m) and (n) added into the resin material A. The detection method comprises an exciting process of exciting the phosphor (m) extended for a predetermined time, and a process of measuring the light quantity of the wavelength conversion light b1 after a predetermined time has elapsed after completion of the exciting process and the phosphor (m) is detected.
