Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily execute down-shift in clutch recombination speed change, in an automatic transmission connected to an engine where output suppressing control is executed at acceleration. SOLUTION: An ECT_ECU executes a program including a step (S110) of deciding, when power-on down-shift in clutch-to-clutch speed change is started (YES in S100), whether acceleration shock suppression control is being executed; a step (S130) of deciding, when the acceleration shock suppression control is in execution (YES in S110) and an integrated time from start of the speed change exceeds threshold, that the end of torque phase and the start of inertial phase that are not related to torque transmission (S130); and a step (S140) of stopping the acceleration shock suppression control, when the of torque phase has ended and the inertial phase have started are determined (YES in S130).
