PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric vibrator capable of being rapidly and easily provided with a plurality of electrodes for applying voltage to a piezoelectric vibrator piece while keeping sealing property in a sealed container, and also provide an oscillator, an electronic component, electronic equipment, a manufacturing method of the piezoelectric vibrator, and a manufacturing method of the electronic component. SOLUTION: The piezoelectric vibrator comprises a closed container 2 including a plate-shaped cover member 6 and a base member 7 overlapped; a piezoelectric vibration piece 3 provided in the closed container 2; a lead electrode 16 provided on an overlapped face 6a of the cover member 6, electrically connected with the piezoelectric vibration piece 3 via a connection part 15, and making the connection part 15 extend to an edge part of the overlapped surface 6a of the cover member 6; an external electrode 27 electrically connected from a side surface of the closed container 2 to the lead electrode 16; and a metal joint film 20 provided between the overlapped face 6a of the cover member 6 and the overlapped face 7a of the base member 7.
