Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processor capable of executing processing necessitating a region exceeding the capacity of a storage device mounted on the processor without increasing the storage device capacity per unit. SOLUTION: The information processor 1(A) retrieves the free capacity of storage devices 8 and 9 mounted on the other information processor 1(B, C, D) on a network 20 for storing data through a network 20, and issues the use request of the storage devices 8 and 9 to the other desired information processor 1(B, C, D), and receives the use right of the free regions of the storage devices 8 and 9 from the other information processor 1(B, C, D) as the issue destination of the use right of the storage devices 8 and 9, and executes information processing by using the free regions of the storage devices 8 and 9 of the other information processor 1(B, C, D) whose right use has been received. Thus, it is possible to execute processing requiring a region exceeding the capacity of the storage device mounted on an information processor without increasing the storage device capacity per unit.
