Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grain dryer efficiently drying sprouted brown rice without causing damage or cracking of a surface, and not needing a large installation space. SOLUTION: A sealed housing 3 is provided with an input opening 5 in an upper part, and a delivery opening 80 in a lower part. First and second vibration transfer means 46, 60 are provided having reticulated plates 47, 67 vertically arranged zigzag in the housing 3, and first and second electric motor means 50, 70 (vibrating means) for vibrating the reticulated plates 47, 67. By vibrating the reticulated plates 47, 67 by the first and second electric motor means 50, 70 (the vibrating means), objects 2 (grain) to be dried inputted from the input opening 5 are sequentially transferred downward so as to slide on the reticulated plates 47, 67, the objects 2 (grain) to be dried are dried by blowing hot air from below the reticulated plates 47, 67 by drying means 55, 75, and they are sent out from the delivery opening 80.
