Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To more effectively prevent vibration of a vehicle when it makes a transition from a deceleration state to an acceleration state. SOLUTION: In a vehicular engine control device executing open close control of a throttle valve of the engine and fuel supply control based on operation of an accelerator pedal in the engine having a continuous variable transmission connected to the same, if acceleration direction operation is done on the accelerator pedal when the throttle valve is fully closed, fuel supply to the engine is cut off and the continuous variable transmission is under a lock up condition, fuel supply is restarted and open action of the throttle valve is started with delay of predetermined time, and the predetermined time is established to mutually cancel torque fluctuation component of a drive system of a vehicle accompanying fuel supply and torque fluctuation component accompanying start of open action of the throttle valve.
