Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a remote control sensor which can surely and easily be mounted on a substrate having a sensor circuit formed thereon and comprises a shield cover which can be miniaturized by suppressing the mounting space on the substrate. SOLUTION: This remote control sensor 11 comprises the substrate 12 having an external connection electrode 21 at the corner thereof, a sensor circuit 13 having a light-receptive function mounted on the substrate 12, a sealing resin body 14 for sealing the sensor circuit 13, and the shield cover 15 for covering the sealing resin body 14 and fixed to the substrate 12.
