Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a brazing filler metal used when a turbine runner is assembled and a brazing method where no application of a brazing filler metal to a required part can be prevented. SOLUTION: A brazing filler metal 100 is formed of: an inside part 100a elongating along the inner circumferential side part of a slit 72bs formed at the outer peripheral part 72b of a shell 72; an outside part 100b elongating along the part exposed to the outer circumferential face 72e of the shell 72 among projections 76a in a blade 76, so as to be bent; and a connection part 100c of connecting the inside part 100a and the outside part 100b. The inside part 100a is longer than the slit 72bs, and the outside part 100b is slightly longer than one side of the projection 76a bent and made into a triangular shape.
