Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vertical frame for improving the decoration of the end part of a panel material when the panel material is installed on a wall surface and a panel mounting structure. SOLUTION: This vertical frame 2 is disposed at at least one of the both lateral end parts of the panel material 1 laterally mounted on the wall surface W. The vertical frame 2 comprises a locking member 4 having two locking pieces 32 facing each other and mounted on the wall surface and a frame body 3 having two engagement pieces 31 facing each other. The engagement pieces 31 are locked to the engagement pieces 41 of the locking member 4, the frame body 3 is fitted to the locking member 4, and a cover piece 33 projected from the upper surface of the frame body 3 to the outside covers the end part upper surface of the panel material 1 to improve the decoration of the end part of the panel material.
