Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a backlight structure for liquid crystal display device capable of improving the quality of a screen by reflecting light emitted from respective LED light sources at least through one reflection structure and making the light of line light source form incident on a light guide plate. SOLUTION: The backlight structure for liquid crystal display device comprises: a large number of LED light sources; and the light guide plate which is disposed on one side of the large number of LED light sources and uniformly guides the light emitted from the large number of LED light sources, wherein a reflection structure having at least one reflection surface which is inclined at a specified angle so as to face the respective LED light sources is disposed, the light emitted from the respective LED light sources is reflected by the reflective surface, the light of line light source form is made incident on the light guide plate and, thereby obtaining such an effect as to prevent occurrence of the hot spot which brings about the quality damage of screen and the unevenness of screen brightness distribution.
