Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hub unit fitted to a vehicle body to rotatably support a wheel, and restraining an increase in weight and manufacturing cost while coping with the enlargement of a tread. SOLUTION: The hub unit 1 includes: a rolling bearing 2; and a hub wheel 3 disposed concentric with the rolling bearing 2, wherein a spacer 58 is assembled to a carrier 57 as a vehicle body side support member, and further the hub unit 1 is assembled. The spacer 58 includes: a ring-shaped body 58a disposed in contact with the main surface on the vehicle outer side of the carrier 57 formed with a bolt insert hole 32 formed at fit the hub unit 1; and a spacer side spigot 58b projected from the inner peripheral edge of the body 58a toward the vehicle inner side to engage with the inner peripheral surface of the carrier 57.
