SOLUTION: The method for producing a pizza crust comprises treating pizza dough with superheated steam in the production process of a pizza crust. The treatment of pizza dough with superheated steam is carried out before a baking process in the production process of a pizza crust. The treatment of pizza dough with superheated steam is carried out with superheated steam at 120-300°C or by treating pizza dough with superheated steam at 140-260°C for 3-15 seconds.
