Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wideband chip antenna for satisfying frequency band, in compliance with the LOW-BAND standard of the UWB, while attaining a low profile. SOLUTION: An antenna 2 is the wideband chip antenna comprising a flat plate electrode 4 provided in the vicinity of a flat plate ground 3 and located above a board 1 on which the ground 3 is located, wherein the distance between the electrode 4 and the ground 3 increases more from a center part P of one-end part M of the electrode 4 toward side parts N of the one-end part M, and the electrode 4 is provided obliquely to the board 1, such that the one-end part M is closer to the board 1 than to the other end part L of the electrode 4 located facing the one-end part M.
