Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrode structure capable of exerting sufficient electrode performance by sufficiently securing a reaction field area, a gas diffusion path and a conduction characteristic even in a low-temperature range around 600°C. SOLUTION: This electrode structure is composed by stacking a plurality of electrode layers, in each of which an electron conduction phase 1, an ion conduction phase 2 and a gas diffusion phase 3 are arranged so as to have a common contact point. Any one of the electron conduction phase, the ion conduction phase and the gas diffusion phase in one of the electrode layers comes into contact with the three phases in the other electrode layers. The gas diffusion phase communicates with the front surface through the back surface of the electrode structure in the stacking direction of the electrode layer. The electron conduction phase, the ion conduction phase and the gas diffusion phase have nearly the same shape and are regularly arranged. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
