PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a transmission terminal side to surely obtain the status or information of relation between a content and reply confirmation for every receiver by providing a URL address as the reply destination of a received electronic mail with the identification information of a reception terminal and the identification information of notification content(the content of the electronic mail). SOLUTION: This electronic mail distribution system is composed of a transmission terminal which transmits an electronic mail, a reception terminal which receives the electronic mail and a communication network where the transmission terminal is connected to the reception terminal. The electronic mail prepared and transmitted by the transmission terminal is provided with an URL(Uniform Resource Locater) address for enabling the reception terminal make access for confirming that the reception terminal has received the electronic mail, and the URL address is provided with first identification information for identifying the reception terminal which receives the electronic mail and second identification information for identifying the received electronic mail.
