Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mold 32 capable of molding tires with good narrow grooves for a long period. SOLUTION: A cavity face 34 of the mold 32 has striped ridges P with approximately rectangle cross sections. The striped ridge P has a first corner P1, a second corner P2, a third corner P3 and a forth corner P4. The height H of the striped ridge P is ≥0.1 mm and ≤1.0 mm, and the width W2 of the striped ridge is ≥0.1 mm and ≤2.0 mm. The curvature radius Rc of the second corner P2 and the curvature radius Rd of the third corner P3 are ≤0.2 mm. Each of interior angles β1, β2, β3, β4 of the striped ridge P is ≥80° and ≤100°. The tires produced by the mold 32 have the narrow grooves having shapes reverse to those of the striped ridges P. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
