Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cleaning implement which has a simple structure and an excellent maneuverability and is capable of efficiently cleaning an inner peripheral surface which defines a hollow part. SOLUTION: The cleaning implement 1 which is inserted in the hollow part and cleans the inner peripheral surface defining the hollow part comprises a gripping part 12 and, a cleaning part 13 provided at the tip of the gripping part 12 and capable of inserting into the hollow part, the cleaning part 13 having a core part 14 and a cleaning member 15 which is spirally wound round the surface of the core part 14 with the number more than half a turn, the cleaning member 15 being capable of closely contacting the inner peripheral surface by resiliently deforming to fit the inner peripheral surface when inserted in the hollow part.
