Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water meter unit base which allows a water meter unit to be available in an embedded condition or in a detached house or an apartment house in common. SOLUTION: According to the structure of the water meter unit base, a base frame 13 has a pair of mutually opposed support portions 11, 12 at both ends thereof, and supports both ends 6, 7 of a water meter unit 5 formed of a flow meter 1, an on-off valve 2, and a check valve 3, by means of the support portions 11, 12 pairing up each other. Then fixing engaging portions 16 are arranged on a bottom 13c of the base frame 13 so as to face a water meter storage box 20 as an object to be fixed, and the base frame 13 is engaged with the water meter storage box 20 by means of bolts inserted into the fixing engaging portions 16 and engaged portions 17 formed in the water meter storage box 20. By virtue of this structure, a single body of the water meter unit 5 is set at an arbitrary location via the base frame 13, and therefore it is available in an embedded condition or in a detached house or an apartment house in common, which enables the water meter unit base to be set not only in the water meter storage box or on the horizontal plane such as the ground surface or a floor surface, but also on a vertical portion or an inclined portion, to thereby contribute to effective use of a space.
