Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle sub-frame in two-split constitution capable of enhancing the degree of freedom for the shape of a join of two sections, even if the sub-frame is made in die-cast in the form of parallel crosses and formed in two-split constitution. SOLUTION: The sub-frame 11 made in die-cast in the form of parallel crosses to be installed in the front lower part 14 of a vehicle body 13 is configured with a front sub-frame section 15 and a rear sub-frame section 16 formed in a U-shape as split to the front and rear, and is embodied so that a left 65 and a right beam split front part 67 formed at the left and right ends of a front beam member 47 constituting the front sub-frame section 15 are joined with a left 88 and a right beam split rear part 91 formed at the left and right ends of a rear beam member 53 constituting the rear sub-frame section 16, wherein the left 65 and right beam split front parts 67 are furnished with flat portions 13 and 14 so as to constitute a starting point of the plastic deformation when a larger load in the fore-and-aft direction than normal load is applied to the sub-frame 11.
