PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for carrying and mounting a seat of an automobile, by which apparatus, a worker does not need to mount the seat on a car body by holding it by hands, and the number of processes is reduced, and the burden of the worker can be remarkably reduced. SOLUTION: The apparatus for carrying and mounting the seat of the automobile comprises a rear seat mounting device 1, a front seat hanging and carrying device 2, a front seat moving device 3, and respective right and left front seat mounting devices 4a, 4b in the neighborhood of a carrying conveyor 5 serving as an automobile manufacturing line. In addition, a system for carrying and mounting the seat of the automobile mounts and fixes a rear seat RS by means of the rear seat mounting device 1 to a car body B carried by the automobile manufacturing line, and carries a front seat FR for any side of right and left sides from a seat mounting portion 6 to another side by means of the front seat hanging and carrying device 2, and carries the front seat FR to the front seat mounting device 4a by means of the front seat moving device 3, and mounts and fixes the right and left front seats FRR, FRL to the arranging positions of the car body respectively by means of the right and left front seat mounting devices 4a, 4b.
