Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chimney damper structure capable of preventing the deformation of a damper including an inner partitioning plate without restraining thermal elongation, and supporting a load in a horizontal direction or an up-and-down (vertical) direction. SOLUTION: A plurality of damper shafts 4 are arranged in parallel with one another on a horizontal cross section of a chimney 11 having a gas passage in a vertical direction. A flat plate shaped damper blade 2 is mounted to each shaft 4. The damper blade 2 opens and closes the gas passage in the chimney 11 by the rotation of the shaft 4. Furthermore, the chimney damper structure includes inner partitioning plates 3A, 3B provided on a boundary of the blades 2 which support the shaft 4 and are adjacent with each other for partitioning a horizontal cross section in the chimney into a plurality of pieces sandwiching supports 8, 8 provided on the inner circumferential surface of the chimney for supporting at least one end of the thermally elongated inner partitioning plates 3A, 3B.
