Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a panel tilting system capable of smoothly and freely tilting a display panel of a navigation system mounted on a vehicle. SOLUTION: A roller R1 attached to an upper end of a panel frame body 5 and a roller R2 attached to an end part of a mobile plate 6 are fitted to guide grooves C1 and C2 formed in an inside face of a side wall of a panel mounting frame body 2. A spring 7 is connected to the other end of the mobile plate and a lower part of the panel frame body. Engagement pins P1 and P2 provided on a panel main body are loosely fitted to and engaged with pin loose fitting long holes H1 and H2 of the mobile plate. When an operation rod 4 is driven in a direction of an arrow to tilt the panel main body, the rollers are moved downward along the guide grooves, and the engagement pins are displaced within the long holes, and spring force is applied to the lower part of the panel main body. When the panel main body is restored from tilt, not only the spring force but also drawing-in driving force of the operation rod is transmitted to the roller R1, whereby the panel main body can be smoothly restored from tilt.
