PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal display device, wherein the manufacturing cost is reduced by constituting so that a configuration for removing static electricity on an observer-side surface of a liquid crystal panel, is simplified to have less restrictions and can be given without requiring new equipment in a manufacturing process. SOLUTION: A pair of liquid crystal panel reception parts 31 are provided at each of two corners of a lower side of a liquid crystal panel 1. Each liquid crystal panel reception part 31 is an L-shaped member, wherein a second flat part 31b of two flat parts is abutted on a side face of the liquid crystal panel 1. A conductive sheet 5 with an adhesive is stuck to each of two corners of the lower side of the liquid crystal panel 1 from on the corner of the liquid crystal panel 1 to a principal face of a resin case 3 and a side face of a metallic rear case 4 having the resin case 3 stored therein.
