Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new radioactive medical implant (small ray source called "a seed") having very excellent X-ray visualizing performance, reducing artifact generated in computer tomography (CT) image and ensuring excellent objects of magnetic resonance tomography (MRT) images, and its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The radioactive medical implant has a metallic carrier having radio-transparency, radio-resistance, compatibility to a human body, and added with radioactive isotopes, and the carrier comprises molybdenum coated or alloyed with a ferromagnetic metal, and the outmost layer of the carrier comprises a silver coating.
