Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire with a braided sleeve having the braided sleeve tightly fitted to the wire and capable of preventing a mesh on the recessed curve side of a curvature part in curving from expanding. SOLUTION: This wire 1 with a braided sleeve is provided with the wire 3 and the metallic braided sleeve 5 overlaid on the wire 3. The braided sleeve 5 is contracted by stroking it from one-end opening side thereof toward the other-end opening side thereof along the wire 3 in a form put over the circumference of the wire 3 and overlaid on the wire 3.
