Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steering device capable of fitting a steering wheel to a steering angle of a steered heel by a simple constitution. SOLUTION: The steering device is provided with a motor for giving virtual steering reaction force to the steering wheel. When an ignition switch is turned OFF (negative determination at S100), when deviation is generated between the steering angle of the steered wheel and a rotation position of the steering wheel (affirmative determination at S114), the motor is driven by ECU (S118) and driving force of the motor is given to the steering wheel in an opposite direction to a rotation direction of the steering wheel. Thereby, the steering wheel is rotated such that the rotation position is coincident with the steering angle of the steered wheel. Accordingly, the steering device can fit the steering wheel to the steering angle of the steered wheel by a simple constitution that the driving force of the motor for giving the virtual steering reaction force to the steering wheel is utilized.
