Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an injection molding apparatus fitted with a plasma generator which does not use high frequency electric power and to provide methods of injection molding and surface treatment. SOLUTION: The injection molding is conducted as shown in Fig. 1. A and the molded product P is cooled and solidified. Using the jack 120 the second mold 200 is moved by one to a few millimeters to form the gap S, as shown in Fig. 1. B. At that time, the gas inlet 132 and the exhaust port 142 are open to the gap S by the movement of the second mold 200, and the gas introducing tube 131, the gap S and the exhaust tube 141 become communicant. These are kept airtight by the O-ring 201 of the second mold 200. Then exhaustion from the airtight gap S is performed using the exhaust apparatus 140, and a gas for the plasma treatment is supplied into the gap S from the gas supply section 130. When microwave is supplied to the microwave antenna 160 through the wave guide 150, electric discharge by the microwave occurs in the gap S and the gas plasma is generated.
