Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regeneration control device of a particulate filter capable of improving regeneration efficiency, by restraining fuel consumption in regeneration processing of the particulate filter. SOLUTION: This device is a diesel engine having the particulate filter and an oxidation catalyst arranged on the upstream side of the particulate filter in an exhaust system, and provides a device for controlling regeneration of the particulate filter. This device has a temperature detecting means arranged between the oxidation catalyst and the particulate filter and detecting the exhaust temperature, and a regenerating means for controlling the regeneration under an operation condition suitable for regeneration control of the particulate filter. The regenerating means continues the regeneration control when the detecting temperature of the temperature detecting means becomes a predetermined value or more when falling out of the operation condition in the regeneration control.
