Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink supply system capable of continuous recording for a long time by ensuring not to let the level of deaeration fall while the ink reaches the inkjet head. SOLUTION: An inkjet printer 1 is provided with an inkjet head 3 which records on a recording medium by ejecting deaerated ink, an exchangeable ink cartridge 4 for reserving ink, an ink passage 5 formed from the ink cartridge 4 to the inkjet head 3, an intermediate ink reservoir 6 which is hermetically formed by a flexible member and a pressured-ink supplying means 7 which pressurizes ink for supply, from the ink cartridge 4 to the intermediate ink reservoir side. The ink supply system formed, to proceed from the ink cartridge 4 to the inkjet 3 is hermetically structured so that no air is mixed therein. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
