Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide composite particle for electrodes of an electrochemical device by which an electrochemical device having a low internal resistance and a high capacity can be obtained. SOLUTION: A slurry containing an electrode active material, a conductive material, and a binder is spray-dried to form particles. Then, by a method of heating the particles to bridge-cure the binder or by other method, the composite particle for electrodes of the electrochemical device are obtained whose weight average particle diameter is 0.1-1,000 μm, and rate of change in particle diameter is 5-70% when compressed at a rate of loading of 0.9 mN/sec to the maximum load of 9.8 mN by a micro compression tester.
