Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stable external preparation blended with urea, preventing the decomposition of the urea in the presence of water and without showing changes in its properties such as the change of pH, etc., even on preserving it for a long period. SOLUTION: This external preparation blended with the urea contains, together with the urea as an active ingredient, (a) triethanolamine, (b) tartaric acid and (c) a stabilizing assistant of ammonium chloride and/or glycine. Preferably, the blended amount of the urea is 10-50 wt.%. Also the blended amount of the triethanolamine is preferably 0.5-8 wt.%. The blended amount of the tartaric acid is preferably 0.2-4 wt.%.
