Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a failure operation history display method for enabling an operator to quickly understand the cause of failure and easily respond thereto. SOLUTION: The failure operation history display method is provided with a history file 105 for storing history data of a failure or the like; a history registration processing part 102 for receiving contact point information 201 from a PLC 200 or equipment 300 and definition information for operation, manipulation, failure or the like to be registered in the history file; and a failure display processing part 111 for displaying the output of the history registration processing part, detects and analyzes the failure. A warning information processing part 110 is provided for automatically extracting warning information such as an operation of the equipment or an operator manipulation relevant to the failure generated in a prescribed period before the failure occurrence, which is regarded as a warning period of the failure, to extract information similar thereto for display.
