Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source apparatus capable of obtaining light with a high power density and to provide its manufacturing method. SOLUTION: The light source apparatus 1 is structured by one to one combination of N of light emitting elements S1-SN, N of condensing lenses L1-LN, and N of optical fibers F1-FN. On the side of the light emitting element Snof the light source apparatus 1, a controller 20 is installed which controls the power of emitting light. On the output side of the light source apparatus 1, the optical fibers Fnare bundled and held by a ferrule 10. The optical fibers Fnare composed of a large diameter part Fnaand a small diameter part Fnb. The boundary part Fncbetween the large and small diameter parts Fna, Fnbis formed such that its outer diameter gently changes from the large diameter part Fnaover to the small Fnb.
